Wow Wow Wow – Fashion Inspirations

Anyone who knows me knows that I just love clothes. LOVE them. Think about them constantly. I just couldn’t contain myself when I saw the photos from this show. I find them so inspiring on many different levels and my goal is to eventually incorporate this idea of color and floral inspiration into a photo shoot of my own. Raleigh Newborn Photographer – Baby Chloe

I had a great time photographing Chloe. Her parents were so nice and accomodating and how cute is she? I couldn’t believe how much hair she has! She was a real trooper and slept like a rock the entire time! Always the best.

Raleigh Bridal Photographer – Kelly’s Rock the Frock

I met Kelly on a very humid and hot day to do a “rock the frock” session post wedding day. I had a great time and Kelly was very willing on working with any suggestions. I think it’s always amazing how many photos we can get in dangerous locations without truly wrecking the dress. So, for anyone who’s interested in a session, but afraid to ruin the dress, not to worry!

Raleigh Children’s Photographer – Sophie Backyard Mini-session

I have been photographing Sophie ever since her mom was pregnant with her. I’ve had the pleasure of watching her grow over the past year and a half and she just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I love photographing newborns, I really think they are each so unique and different. I couldn’t believe how awake and alert Lainey was after just a few days. She has huge eyes that I think are her mother’s and I’m very glad that it took a while to put her down. We were able to get some great shots of Lainey wide awake.

Raleigh Bridal Photographer – Gabby’s Trash the Dress?

So originally Gabby and I did a photo session that was supposed to focus on the “trashing of the dress”. I’ve come to really loathe this term because it dennotes a destruction of property that I’m just not comfortable with. Has Gabby had her wedding? Yes. Did we take some photos of her in her wedding gown? Yes. Did we trash the dress? No. So, I am going to call this a “Rock the Frock” session instead. No dresses were harmed and I think it actually shows you how creative you can get with bridal portraits. Thanks again Gabby you did a great job!

Lexington Wedding Photographer – Frank and Sarah Married!

July I was home for my brother’s wedding and also had the opportunity to photography my cousins at Henry Clay’s Home in Lexington KY. I had a great time catching up with them and photographing them all over the grounds.
