I have been photographing Sophie ever since her mom was pregnant with her.  I’ve had the pleasure of watching her grow over the past year and a half and she just keeps getting cuter and cuter!  We took these photographs right before Sophie’s bed time and I’m amazed at how many great photos there were.  Here are a few of my favorites:

I love photographing newborns, I really think they are each so unique and different.  I couldn’t believe how awake and alert Lainey was after just a few days.  She has huge eyes that I think are her mother’s and I’m very glad that it took a while to put her down.  We were able to get some great shots of Lainey wide awake. 

So originally Gabby and I did a photo session that was supposed to focus on the “trashing of the dress”.  I’ve come to really loathe this term because it dennotes a destruction of property that I’m just not comfortable with.  Has Gabby had her wedding?  Yes.  Did we take some photos of her in her wedding gown? Yes. Did we trash the dress? No.  So, I am going to call this a “Rock the Frock” session instead.  No dresses were harmed and I think it actually shows you how creative you can get with bridal portraits.  Thanks again Gabby you did a great job!
